New train timetables

From 11 December 2011, the entire train travel organisation is being revised. Why this change?

• The rail network is being renovated and updated: Over 1000 major improvement projects are run each year by  Réseau Ferré de France.

• New high-speed routes are being constructed from 2012 to make your train travel even easier.

• Timetables are being revised to free up space on the most popular routes to increase the number of trains and improve TGV and TER connections: from 11 December 2011, 85% of all timetables (and 100% of main line timetables) are being modified.

Track work and new train times: all the information you need

• Work on the lines:

A lot of work is done during the night. However, some train times during the day have been changed or cancelled, and some travel times have been extended.
